Double Nut Ball Screws - DFU High Rigidity Flanged Series
High-precision CNC machine tools, grinding centers, and heavy-load linear actuators require zero axial backlash and maximum dynamic stiffness. While single nut ball screws can achieve light preload through oversize ball selection, heavy reversing loads eventually cause micro-deflection.
The DFU series utilizes two precision flanged ball nuts connected via an internal precision ground preload spacer. By exerting opposing axial forces across the recirculating ball circuits, the assembly completely eliminates backlash and significantly increases axial rigidity under high-load reversing cycles.
