Installation
1. Check the pulley groove to ensure that there are no scratches or sharp edges and that all dimensions meet the standards;
2. Clean all component surfaces, such as the pulley hub hole, taper sleeve, bolt hole, etc. Install the taper sleeve into the pulley so that all screw holes are aligned.
3. Apply oil to the screw (TB 1008-TB 3030) and thread (TB 3525-TB 5050) and screw it into the mounting hole, but do not tighten it yet.
4. Clean the surface of the drive shaft, push the pulley with the taper sleeve installed to the predetermined position on the shaft, and check whether the V-belt pulley is aligned.
5. When using a keyway, it must first be inserted into the hub, and there must be a certain tolerance between the keyway and the hole hub.
6. Using a hexagonal wrench that meets the DIN911 standard, tighten the bolts of each mounting hole alternately and gradually and evenly until the torque shown in the table below is reached.
7. After a short period of operation (0.5 to 1 hour), check the tightening torque of the bolts and retighten them if necessary.
8. To prevent foreign matter from invading, fill the connection holes of the holes with grease.
Disassembly
1. Loosen all bolts, take out one or two bolts according to the number of disassembly holes, lubricate the bolt thread and the bolt tip with oil, and insert the bolt into the disassembly hole.
2. Tighten the bolts alternately until the cone sleeve and the pulley are loosened.
3. Remove the cone sleeve and the pulley from the shaft.
Assembly precautions
1. Gasoline must be used for the last cleaning before assembly to ensure that all parts are clean and dry, to ensure that the mating surfaces are tightly matched and free of oil and dirt, and have sufficient friction.
2. The hexagon socket bolts for assembly should also be cleaned and dried with gasoline before assembly. Lubricating oil or grease should not be applied to the bolts or screw holes to ensure that the bolts have sufficient friction self-locking ability after tightening.
3. When the three hexagon socket bolts are about to be installed in place, they need to be tightened in turn to ensure that the cone sleeve is subjected to uniform axial force and that the pulley and cone sleeve are well coaxially positioned.
4. Before installation, check and measure the length of the hexagon socket bolts for assembly to ensure that the assembly bolts can support the bottom of the blind hole of the cone sleeve after tightening, so as to ensure that the cone surface fits tightly and that the bolts are subjected to the reverse thrust of the bottom of the blind hole, producing the same anti-loosening effect as the double nut principle.
5. After the pulley is tightened, check and adjust the relative position of the master and driven pulleys by pulling the wire to ensure that the two wheels are in the same plane and the belt tension is appropriate.
6. The pulley cover should be intact and firmly installed to ensure that the belt breaks during operation or the pulley loosens and exits to cause major safety accidents.
7. The cone sleeve is a wearing part. After long-term operation, the inner hole and chain groove may be damaged. It should be checked before each assembly, and spare parts should be replaced in time if defects are found.
